Birth Pool Availability

Birth pools are in very high demand at the moment, so I recommend reserving yours as soon as possible to avoid missing out. A £50 deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due at 35 weeks.

Collection or delivery is arranged during your 36th week of pregnancy, so your pool is ready and waiting for your due window. The hire period runs for 7 weeks (from 37–43 weeks), giving you plenty of time and no rush to return the pool even if your pregnancy continues past 42 weeks.

Named after Michel Odent — a pioneer of water birth and a long-standing advocate for physiological, undisturbed birth.

His work centred around a simple but powerful idea:
when a woman feels safe, calm, and unobserved — her body knows exactly what to do.

Water birth became one of the ways to support this.

Warm water can help the body soften, reduce external stimulation, and encourage the natural flow of oxytocin — the hormone that drives labour forward.

This pool reflects that philosophy.
