Sara the birth pool is named after Kemi "BirthJoy" Johnson.

Kemi is a dynamic and outspoken birthkeeper and birth activist, formerly practising as an NHS and independent midwife in the UK. Her mission? To transform the maternity system from a medical-first model into a physiological-first model of care.

The birth pool kit is booked out for 5 weeks at a time from 37 - 42 weeks.

It will be available for collection or delivery from the day you turn 37 weeks (I do endeavour to have the pool ready for from 36 weeks!) and will be booked out to you until 42 weeks at which point I can arrange to collect it when it's convenient, unless you would prefer to drop it off to me.

Delivery is offered free of charge within a 15 mile radius from Durrington. Unfortunately I am unable to deliver outside of this area. Alternatively I am happy for you to collect.
