Postnatal Yoga @ Crazy Strength
A gentle, baby-friendly class supporting postnatal recovery, reconnection and community.
Service Description
Postnatal & Baby Yoga at Wild Embers is a calm, welcoming space for mothers and babies to reconnect, restore and feel supported after birth. These 60-minute classes are designed around real postnatal life. Babies feed, cry, sleep and need cuddles — and all of that is completely welcome. There’s no pressure to keep up, no expectation to finish a full practice, and no judgement if you spend most of the class tending to your baby. The movement is gentle, functional and supportive, focusing on postnatal recovery rather than “getting back into shape”. We work on rebuilding strength gradually, supporting the pelvic floor and deep core, releasing tension in the shoulders and back, and improving posture for feeding and carrying. Breathwork and grounding practices are woven in to support nervous system regulation and emotional wellbeing. All movements are optional and adaptable. If you’ve had a caesarean, a difficult birth, or feel nervous about returning to movement, this class offers a safe and reassuring place to begin. You’re encouraged to move with your body, not push against it. Babies are gently included where possible, but there’s no pressure to interact in any particular way — simply being together is enough. Many mums find this class becomes one of the few places they can truly relax during the early months. Alongside the physical benefits, these classes offer something just as important: connection. Over the weeks, friendships often form naturally, creating a sense of community and shared understanding. At the same time, quiet presence is always respected. Postnatal & Baby Yoga at Wild Embers is not about bouncing back. It’s about care, patience and support — helping you feel stronger, calmer and more connected as you navigate this tender season of motherhood.
