Service Description
This private 1:1 birth preparation course is ideal for those who already have some foundational knowledge and are looking to deepen their understanding and strengthen their approach to birth. Spanning 6 hours across two 3-hour sessions, the course covers: Building on Existing Skills: We'll help you adapt and enhance the tools you already use, supporting you to feel more confident and comfortable as you approach birth. Understanding the Birth Journey: Gain clear, evidence-based insight into the stages of labour, what to expect, and how to navigate each phase with calm and clarity. Working with the System: Learn how to advocate for yourself, communicate your preferences effectively, and work confidently with your care providers in any birth setting. Supporting the Birth Partner: Your partner will be equipped with practical techniques and confidence to offer emotional and physical support throughout the birth experience—from comfort measures to communication strategies. The course is fully tailored to your individual circumstances, helping you and your birth partner feel informed, empowered, and ready to approach birth with trust in your instincts and choices.
Cancellation Policy
**Booking Policy – Classes & Activities** **Bookings & Payment** All bookings must be made in advance through Glow & Gather. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space. **Independent Practitioners** Classes and activities in this category are delivered by independent practitioners using the Glow & Gather studio. Glow & Gather manages bookings and payments, but each practitioner is responsible for delivering their sessions, including appropriate qualifications, insurance and activity-specific safety requirements. **Cancellations & Missed Sessions** Spaces are limited, and bookings are non-refundable if you are unable to attend. If you can no longer make a session, please let us know as soon as possible. Where appropriate, we may be able to offer your space to someone else, but refunds, transfers and catch-up sessions cannot be guaranteed. For courses, missed sessions cannot normally be carried forward or credited towards future bookings. **Cancellations by the Practitioner** If a session is cancelled by the practitioner or Glow & Gather, you will be offered a replacement session, credit or refund for the affected session. **Babies & Children** Parents and carers remain responsible for their children throughout sessions unless explicitly stated otherwise. Please follow any age guidance, safety instructions and participation requirements provided by the practitioner. **Health & Safety** Please complete any relevant booking or intake forms and inform the practitioner of any health conditions, allergies or additional needs that may affect participation. **Photography** Photographs or videos will only be taken or shared with appropriate consent. **Changes to Sessions** Occasionally, session times, practitioners or arrangements may need to change. We will communicate any changes as soon as reasonably possible. **Questions** For booking or payment enquiries, please contact Glow & Gather. Questions about the content or suitability of a particular class can be directed to the practitioner delivering it.
